Death Toll In Lagos Tanker Explosion Hits 12

The variety of individuals who died in Thursday’s tanker explosion in Nigeria’s business centre has hit twelve (12), based on the State Government.

State Commissioner for Health Jide Idris, mentioned this on Tuesday at a press briefing.

As said by Idris,10 our bodies have been recovered from the scene of the incident (towards the 9 earlier reported).

He mentioned the tenth is an toddler, with two of the seven survivors later dying within the hospital.

In addition, he mentioned others are responding to therapy.

A petroleum-carrying tanker had exploded alongside the Otedola Bridge axis of Berger in Lagos on Thursday night.

It was gathered that no fewer than 50 autos have been destroyed by fireplace ensuing from the explosion, which reportedly began at 5:30pm.
