If Mariah Carey’s dogs use it, it HAS to be a multi-million dollar business.
The founders of the dog-walking app Wag have landed a $300million investment in their company.
Brothers Joshua and Jonathan Viner, who launched the service less than three years ago, announced on Tuesday that the SoftBank Vision Fund had backed them to the tune of nine-figures.

The on-demand app is favored by a host of A-list celebs, including Mariah, Kendall Jenner, Khloe Grace Moretz, Hailey Baldwin, Bella Thorne and Gigi and Bella Hadid.
Launching in Los Angeles and New York City in 2015, it has since expanded into to more than 100 cities across the United States.
The mobile app also promotes canine adoption by providing a meal to shelter dogs for every walk booked.
Four-legged customers can be spotted by the little green bandannas they wear on every walk, and owners even receive a report card when they are done.

‘We’re thrilled to have a strategic partner in SoftBank, and welcome their experience scaling leading technology companies through their global vision and operating expertise,’ Joshua stated.
The brothers also announced on Tuesday that they had partnered with veteran technology executive Hilary Schneider, who was coming on board as Chief Executive Officer.
She previously served as Executive Vice President of Yahoo, CEO of LifeLock, and — crucially — is parent of two Russian Black Terriers: Sadie and Zoe.
‘We’re also delighted to have recruited Hilary to join as CEO. Her track record in successfully building a number of consumer technology brands, combined with her love of dogs, makes her a perfect partner for us,’ Jonathan added.
The pet services industry, which was estimated to be a $69 billion market in the United States in 2017 and $180 billion globally, is currently experiencing unprecedented growth.
