A Principal of Seat of Wisdom Secondary School in  Anambra state has escaped being lynched after the police appeared.

It was gathered that the Principal, Modestus Eze, allegedly had s3xual intercourse with a 17-year-old scholar of the varsity.

PUNCH reported that there was pandemonium within the secondary faculty positioned at Okija, Ihiala space, Anambra state after youths stormed the varsity in quest of the principal.

Their chaotic look compelled the police in Okija Police Division to arrest the state of affairs.

As acknowledged by a source within the faculty, “It was the police that saved the person. He would have been lifeless by now.

“We learnt that during the confusion in the school, the man escaped. Nobody knows his whereabouts.”

The Police Public Relations Officer for Anambra State, Haruna Umar, confirmed the report.

Haruna stated, “There was a reported case of unnatural offence in opposition to one Modestus Eze, the Principal of Seat of Wisdom Secondary School, Okija.

“The suspect allegedly had an illegal carnal information of a male pupil of 17 years previous, in opposition to the order of nature.

“The scene was visited by police detectives connected to the Okija division and the sufferer was taken to the hospital for medical examination.

“Some charms and fetish deities lined with purple substance suspected to be blood, had been additionally found in some remoted rooms on the varsity premises.

“It took the intervention of the Divisional Police Officer and some eminent persons in the area to restore normalcy and pacify the rampaging youths from taking the law into their own hands.”

He revealed that the Principal continues to be on the run and efforts are ” being intensified to apprehend him with a view to deliver him to justice.”

Haruna advised PUNCH correspondence that the varsity has been closely guarded and that investigation was ongoing.
