JAMB to Begin Sale of 2017 UTME Application Form Next Week

The Joint Admission and Matriculations Board (JAMB) will begin the sale of the 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) forms on the 20th of March.

The forms will be on sale till Wednesday 19th April, 2017.

According to the examination body, while sales of the application form will end on 19 April, the registration portal closes on Saturday 22nd April 2017.

“The #UTME2017 Fee is 5,500 Naira. This includes Registration fees, Reading text and all other Document (Syllabus and Brochure),” JAMB announced on Twitter.

“UTME2017 Exam Starts 6th May to 20th May, 2017 (excluding
May 12, 2017 because of Candidates sitting for WAEC’s Further Maths Exam).”

“Sales of Form ends on Wednesday 19th April 2017 while the Registration portal closes on Saturday 22nd April 2017.”

“For Direct Entry Candidates, the application will be on sale from Sunday 23rd April, 2017”

JAMB recently emphasised that it would organise an optional mock examination before the 2017 UTME.

The purpose of the mock examination is to allow candidates “FEEL’’ what the main examination will be like.

The mock examination would be “completely optional’’ as it would not be a pre-requirement for writing the actual UTME.

Interswitch Payment on the e-Facility portal has been temporarily disabled and the list of its accredited centres will soon be announced.
