TV star Matthew Wright mentioned an emotional goodbye to his group and the viewers as he hosted The Wright Stuff for the final time.

The presenter introduced final month that he can be leaving the Channel 5 present affairs present after 18 years.

His voice wavering, he mentioned: “I’d like to thank you at home. Eighteen years we have spent together. That is a long time for stuff to happen.”

Regular panellist Lowri Turner mentioned: “I’ve been quite tearful, 17 years I’ve done this show with you.”
