The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), on Thursday night, received 166 stranded Nigerians from Libya.

The returnees included 72 female, including three pregnant women, and 94 male, including 5 male infants.

As stated by the agency, the number of Nigerians who have voluntarily returned from the Maghreb nation in the last five weeks is now 643.

Their return was aided by the International Organization for Migration (IOM).

Director General of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Mustapha Maihajja, received the returnees at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) NAHCO Terminal.

He advised parents and guardians to desist from encouraging their children and wards from embarking on a journey that might destroy the promising future of their children.
