Chevrolet is at it again with the "real people, not actors" bit, and as before, the new Silverado takes center stage while doing something that might look impressive.

Of course, the real people "enter scene" by asking themselves what's going on, trying to figure out why Chevrolet brought them to a skiing slope in Utah, which makes the Silverado's entrance all the more impactful.

Once three trucks come into view, the host makes sure to point out that the Silverado features an exclusive auto-locking rear differential, which works by locking the axle when wheel-slip is detected.

The "real people, not actors" were unsurprisingly impressed by the truck's characteristics, saying that it felt powerful and that grip wasn't an issue, despite the incline of the slope and the snow.

Then, Chevy goes after Ford by saying that the F-150 comes with a similar system, only that you need to push a button in order to activate it, whereas the Silverado can work these things out by itself without the driver needing to prepare it for low-grip scenarios.

In terms of muscle, at its best the Silverado comes with two extremely capable engines, a 5.3-liter EcoTec3 V8 and a 6.2-liter EcoTec3 V8, producing 355 HP and 420 HP respectively, so it's no wonder those people thought the truck was "a beast".
