At least four persons have been injured while many others are trapped under the rubble, as a building located in Dolphin Estate Ikoyi collapsed this morning. The building is located at HFB way Dolphin Estate, Ikoyi. A statement from NEMA spokesman Ibrahim Farinloye stated the incident occurred at 7.15am, following an explosion from the building. The explosion he stated was not unconnected to a gas, adding that three persons were stated to be inside the building when the explosion occurred. The three occupant of the building and a driver alleged to be washing a vehicle outside the building have been evacuated to a St Maria Hospital Yaba, while the anti-bomb unit of the Nigeria Police and the Police disaster management unit have commenced work to unravel the cause of the explosion, Folarin stated.
