Yaya Toure is to leave Manchester City at the end of the current campaign after eight incredible years at the club.
The Ivorian is without doubt one of the greatest players period to have ever graced the Premier League, and news of his impending departure is hitting Citizens supporters in particular pretty hard at the moment.
The midfielder won seven trophies and has been at the forefront of the club's fantastic recent successes, but what are the 34-year-old's standout moments?
6. His Return to the First Team After Guardiola Feud
For a lot of City fans, Toure being frozen out by new manager Pep Guardiola at the start of the 2016/17 season was hard to deal with.
The ageing star was deemed out of shape by the Spaniard and kept away from first team squads, as a feud with the player's agent threatened to turn his relationship with the club sour.
Fortunately apologies were issued and things were smoothed over, and Toure was reinstated to the first team and on his return at Crystal Palace, he scored a brace including a last minute winner.
It was a great moment in that, fans thought a legend might never have played for the club again, but he returned with a bang and reminded everyone of his worth.
5. Manchester Lingo
Not a moment that came on the football pitch, but last summer Toure sat down the club's media team for a light-hearted interview about the city of Manchester's slang terminology, and it made for pretty hilarious viewing.
Put simply, the big man was absolutely hopeless when trying to guess what each local phrase meant, which made him all the more endearing.
By the end, the confusion etched on his face really is a sight to behold.
4. His One and Only Hat-Trick
With strikers Sergio Aguero and Edin Dzeko absent for the visit of Fulham to the Etihad Stadium in 2014, Manchester City's goal threat wasn't quite as obvious as it normally would have been - Yaya Toure made sure there was nothing to worry about.
In a season where he was at the peak of his powers, Toure put the Cottagers to the sword with two penalties and a trademark thunderbolt from the edge of the box, and it remains his one and only hat-trick in Manchester City colours.
3. His Lung-Busting Run and Finish vs Aston Villa
Never has a single goal typified a player so well as Toure's sensational effort against Aston Villa at the Etihad Stadium in 2014.
The result was sewn up that day with the hosts 3-0 up thanks to an Edin Dzeko brace and a Stevan Jovetic strike, but there was time for Toure to put the icing on the cake (something that would later become synonymous with the star) with a last minute lung-busting run and finish.
The Ivorian went full powerhouse mode and marauded forward with the ball from his own half all the way to the opposition box, before finishing with absolute aplomb.
Most impressively Toure had to have been tired at that point in the game, but put the burners on to leave half the Villa team trailing in his destructive wake.
2. THAT Season
The Villa goal was Toure's 20th and final goal in 2013-14 and along with his nine assists, it capped off a truly remarkable campaign.
It was a season that allowed Toure to become widely recognised as the best all-action midfield dynamo in world football. It's probably one of the best pound-for-pound seasons ever seen from a player in the Premier League to this day, considering the fact that he was also required to hold the midfield in some games as well.
1. FA Cup Heroics
Toure became a fan favourite pretty early on in his Manchester City career for his historic contributions in the club's FA Cup triumph in 2011, ending that painful 35-year wait for a trophy.
The Citizens will be eternally grateful to Toure for his match winning-goals against rivals Manchester United in the semi-final, and then Stoke in the final, as it has proven to be the catalyst for their transition into the footballing superpower the club is today.
Had Toure not stepped up in those two games and contributed to that FA Cup triumph, who knows where the club would be right now and who knows what psychological damage might have been done in the hunt for major honours.
**Honourable mention:**When Yaya Didn't Get His Cake
One for the lols, but what an absolutely bizarre episode it was when Toure became disgruntled about not receiving a birthday cake from the club back in the 2013-14 season.
At first many thought it was a wind up, but once people realised Toure's nutter agent Dimitri Seluk was for real then panic mode genuinely ensued for a short while. Awkwardly, the club did present a cake to Toure and sang Happy Birthday during a flight to Abu Dhabi.
The birthday boy ended up staying after that episode and luckily for him, one year later he was sent a much better cake to celebrate his 32nd birthday by Lisa Smith, owner of The Cake Shop in Hazel Grove.
All very weird, but another great Yaya moment nonetheless...
