While Real Madrid and Barcelona continue to tighten their stranglehold on La Liga, there's another club in Europe going about their business with a bang.

Monaco may be second in the Ligue 1 table, but they top the form chart over the span of the last six games, having won five of them, and have scored 53 league goals in just 17 games. This is the second best tally ever at this stage of the season, lagging only behind RC Paris in 1959, who had 56 goals in 18 fixtures - a tally that could be beaten if Monaco go goal crazy against Lyon on Sunday.
Leonardo Jardim's men are fresh off the back of a 7-0 rout over Rennes in the Coupe de la Ligue, too, with 14 different players now having scored over the course of the campaign.
Kylian Mbappe's hat-trick in the aforementioned cup tie means Monaco now have five players who have scored and/or assisted 10 goals so far this season.
Radamel Falcao has struck 14 times in all competitions and has added three further assists, while Guido Carillo, Thomas Lemar, Valere Germain have had a hand in 11. Mbappe, touted as the new Thierry Henry, is now on 10 for the season, scoring six and assisting four in only 522 minutes this season.
In all, Monaco have struck 78 goals in their 28 games, averaging 3.1 goals per Ligue 1 outing, and have scored 16 in their last three at home. Their recent form is even more impressive, though, with 48 goals in their last 14 games - an average of 3.4 each game!
