These traits conceal the absolute beast under the hood that can leave the bygone legend in the dust – no matter which way you look it at it.Now, don’t get us wrong, Bugatti’s new model was tailored and styled to meet state-of-the-art aerodynamic requirements, and also to be reminiscent of the iconic classics that helped built the legendary Bugatti name – from the Atlantic to the Royale – however, nothing prepares you for the new 8.0-litre that boasts 1,500PS (1,479hp) and a mind-blowing 1,600 Nm (1,180 lb-ft) of peak torqueThe vehicle’s whole existence revolves around this redeveloped quad-turbo'd W16 engine and the performance it can deliver, pushing the Chiron from 0 to 100 km/h in "less than 2.5 seconds" and all the way to a top speed of 420 km/h (about 260 mph); it’s no surprise that a new speed record is in sight for Bugatti.With a limited run of only 500 units, each with a mind-blowing $2.6 million price tag, the new Chiron undoubtedly is one of the most exclusive cars ever made.
