The National Publicity Secretary of All Progressives Congress (APC), Bolaji Abdullahi, has stated his victory on the National Convention of the party didn't come as a shock.
Abdullahi was on Sunday re-elected because the spokesperson of the ruling APC.
“My re-election will build relevant institutions to project the image of APC towards 2019 general elections,” he advised .
Speaking on rift and points raised by nPDP members, Abdullahi stated: “I don’t know the place that's coming from as a result of I've not heard it. We belong to APC and that is the place we belong.
“Have you seen a farmer that vegetation after which walks away from it after it has mature? So I’m simply listening to it from you.
“We have by no means heard such a hearsay. So issues are going accordingly and we're comfortable that God has granted us victory.
“I'm proud that APC has been in a position to exhibit to Nigerians and the world that APC is a party that has advanced.
“I am happy that we are now stronger than we were. People were expecting that we will not be able to hold this convention; they thought coming to this convention, our party is going to implode right here.”
