Over the past year, Accenture has made big moves in the cloud space, strengthening its Cloud First Agenda, Internet of things, as-a-service and Salesforce capabilities through a series of strategic partnerships and acquisitions. Accenture was one of the first global companies to establish a strategic alliance with Salesforce.com and is one of the leading providers for many of Salesforce's largest transformational projects, with more than 3,400 certified professionals around the world. In October 2015, Accenture acquired Cloud Sherpas, an industry front-runner in cloud advisory and technology services specializing in Google, Salesforce and ServiceNow. These and other relationships give Accenture's clients access to a large portfolio of cloud offerings, enabling them to tap into the benefits of the cloud across a range of business functions, including automation, contract management, systems integration, human resources and customer service. The success of this approach is evidenced by a string of customer wins and recognitions. Earlier this year, Accenture was named a cloud industry leader by both IDC MarketScape and Everest Group PEAK Matrix. This slide show looks at the moves Accenture has made in the cloud space.
