Tunde Bakare, Nasir El-Rufai and President Muhammadu Buhari
The Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun and the Senior Pastor of Latter Rain Assembly, Tunde Bakare, on Friday met with President Muhammadu Buhari at the presidential villa in Abuja.
Pastor Bakare and Adeosun, arrived at the Villa heading towards the President’s office about 2.30pm on Friday after the weekly juma’at service at State House Mosque.
Pastor Bakare who is a rare visitor to the Villa was seen holding a black bag while walking side by side with Adeosun who engaged him in a discussion.
You may recall that Bakare, a former running mate to Buhari under the defunct Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), had recently criticised the president over the worsening economic and security situation in Nigeria.
It was not clear why he was in the company of the Finance Minister who is facing controversy over alleged forgery of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) exemption certificate.
