Major Al-Mustapha has held series of meetings with politicians, traditional rulers and ethnic groups since he was acquitted on charges of murder, fuming rumours of his political ambition ahead of the 2015 general election.
He was accompanied by his wife and fellow detainee Lateef Sofolahan, Al-Mustapha and Mohammed Abacha, and was welcomed to a cheering reception by his admirees during his visit to Lafia, Nasarawa State.
