Anambra State All Progressives Congress (APC) yesterday said it will sue candidates of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, and the party over the results of the House of Assembly election held across the state on April 11. The APC has also welcomed the cancelation of de-elections in the Anaocha and Aguata areas. It also restated its demand for the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to cancel the elections held last Saturday in Idemili North, Idemili South, Awka South and 12 other constituencies due to alleged irregularities. Speaking through its Publicity Secretary, Mr Okelo Madukife, the APC gave notice of its readiness to drag APGA and its candidates to the election tribunal over alleged contentious manner the House of Assembly election was conducted in Anambra by INEC. In a statement released, Okelo said APC was prepared to follow legal and legitimate means in challenging both the outcome of the election and resolving what he described as subsisting issues.
