The authorities of Anambra has begun enforcement of the ban on road buying and selling in city and semi city areas of the southeast state.
Speaking with newsmen in Awka on Thursday, the State
Commissioner for Environment Mike Okonkwo warned that defaulters would pay a nice of N10,000 and two weeks imprisonment for every offence on conviction.
Okonkwo stated the staff would deal with filthy, obstructive and soiled surroundings, including that the operation would deal with main cities equivalent to Onitsha, Ekwulobia and Nnewi.
