The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Dr. Victor Ike Oye, has stated that the All Progressive Congress (APC) will not be a threat to the governorship election billed for November in Anambra State.
He stated in Amawbia, Awka South local government area, that those criticising APGA were doing it because of envy.
Oye stated those joining the APC in Anambra can not win elections, adding that those who win elections were the masses, who according to him, were with APGA.
The politician stated the parties grandstanding could not withstand APGA, adding that members of APGA were not pushovers.
“Nigeria is moving into a new era and things must change for the better, Buhari is doing his best to turn the economy around for the country” Oye stated.
Oye stated the APC administration in Nigeria led by President Muhammadu Buhari was doing everything possible to write the wrongs of past, despite the economic situation, which, he stated was not caused by the present administration.
He stated the APGA government in Anambra under Obiano would start another round of 181 projects to mark its third year in office.
As stated by him, “Anambra is forward looking state in Nigeria under Obiano and has become the safest state also in terms of security”
“This is election year and the governor deserves a second term because he has shown immeasurable development in the state with his do it yourself projects”
“Nigerian should corporate with APGA because it is a party to beat in 2019”
“APGA is with the masses and those are the people who vote and not those whose names are been dropped, therefore APC is not threat in Anambra”
Oye stated some of the big names being dropped to have joined APC were all friends of Obiano, adding that all the noise were being put by enemies of progress in Anambra.
