He famous that the membership standing of the R-APC leaders was being investigated.
Abdullahi mentioned: “On Wednesday July four, 2018, a group of people introduced itself as ‘Reformed All Progressives Congress (APC)’ at a press convention held in Abuja. By their actions, this group has tried to create the impression that our Party is factionalised. This isn't true.
“The All Progressives Congress (APC) needs to affirm that there is no such thing as a faction in our Party and declares the motion by these people as mischievous and ill-advised.
“Having didn't scuttle the National Convention as was their unique plan, they now resort to this subterfuge as a means of reaching the pre-determined finish of inflicting confusion.
“As a matter of reality, we doubt that these people parading as leaders of the so referred to as faction are precise members of our party. We are presently investigating their true membership standing inside the party.
“While we shall continue to monitor developments in this respect; we will not hesitate to take lawful actions to defend the unity of our Party and protect the sanctity of its identity.”
