The All Progressive Congress (APC) in Niger State has stated the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) should make public restitution to Nigerians and return all ill-gotten wealth they had stolen from the nations’ treasury in the last 16 years.

The party in a press statement signed by its publicity secretary, Mr. Jonathan Vatsa stated that if PDP truly want forgiveness, they should act honestly and sincerely by returning all the monies they had stolen at the state and Federal levels.
It would be recalled that the PDP recently begged Nigerians to forgive it of its 16 years of misrule.

The statement said: β€œIt is a known fact that Nigerians have been gang raped ficially for 16 years, so if the plea of the PDP to Nigerians is anything to go by and it is sincere from the heart, we are calling on the past PDP governments of the last 16 years to make restitution to Nigerians publicly and return all illegal wealth they stole from their various states and Federal ministries.

β€œIt is only by doing this that Nigerians will know that PDP are truly sorry and repentant”.
The party explained that if the PDP is still holding unto the nations’ wealth and telling Nigerians they are sorry, then they are mocking the people and their apology is not genuine.

The party added: β€œThey should have it at the back of their minds that all illegal wealth they have acquired, they will someday give account on the day of reckoning.”

The statement further said β€œIf the PDP wants to be free of its guilt and want Nigerians to forgive them, then they should act honestly and sincerely, and return all our wealth, including properties they use our wealth to acquire, back to the government.”
