General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries Apostle Johnson Suleman has doled out one million naira to Boko Haram captive Leah Sharibu.
Leah was not freed by the group after refusing to back down on her faith.
Former presidential aide Reno Omokri had published a book on Leah where he appealed for her release with the profit from the book also going to her family
This led the clergyman to dole out the money to Leah, according to Omokri in a tweet.
“Dear Nigerians, Please join me in thanking @APOSTLESULEMAN who has just made a generous donation of ₦1 MILLION to Leah Sharibu after my appeal in my latest book, Leah Sharibu: The Girl Boko Haram Left Behind, profits from the book go to Leah’s family,” Omokri posted on Twitter.
