While losing traction in the wet may not be on everyone's mind when weather conditions take a turn for the worse, it's always good to be prepared for that eventuality.
Even if you're not actively forcing your luck by staying right on top of the car in front (as some people do) until they move aside, drivers can avoid losing control in the wet by doing a number of things.
One of which is making sure you're tires are in good condition so that you don't find yourself unable to control your car. In case you do, it's also a good thing to be aware of your car's characteristics and how it would respond to any corrective input coming from your end.
The person behind the wheel of what looks like a 4-door Hyundai Solaris was in a hurry to get past the VW Multivan (it's what they call it in Russia) and ran into a patch of road that had a lot more water buildup than one would have imagined.
Luckily the truck behind them had enough time to avoid hitting the spinning Hyundai, whose driver hopefully learned a valuable lesson in how to properly adjust his or her speed according to the conditions outside.
