The Gunners' title hopes were damaged once again following a surprise 2-1 defeat at home to Swansea City on Wednesday, which has left them six points behind Leicester City

Arsenal do not have “the bottle or the balls” to beat Tottenham in Saturday’s north London derby, according to Paul Scholes.

After last Sunday’s 3-2 defeat to Manchester United, the Gunners’ title hopes were dented once again following a 2-1 loss at home to Swansea City on Wednesday evening.

Arsene Wenger’s men are now six points behind leaders Leicester City with 10 games to go, and Scholes believes their title challenge will be all but over if Tottenham, who lost to West Ham on Wednesday, are victorious at White Hart Lane.

Wenger: I am worried

“They [Spurs] can virtually put Arsenal away with a win,” the former midfielder told BT Sport.

“The question about Arsenal is – have Arsenal got the bottle to go there and win a game after the two results they’ve just had?

“I doubt whether they’ve got the bottle or the balls to go on and do it.”
