Giuseppe Marotta has confirmed Juventus' interest in Alexis Sanchez, but revealed that Arsenal have no intention of selling the forward.

El Mercurio report that the Italian champions made a bid of €44 million for Alexis that was immediately turned down.

And in an interview with the Chilean newspaper, Marotta has admitted that the Gunners have made it clear their star man is not for sale.

"Sanchez is a great player, but Arsenal told us they have no intention of selling," said Marotta.

He added: "Arsenal said that the Chilean attacker is non-transferable and that he is not on the market."

Alexis joined Arsenal from Barcelona in 2014 and is under contract at the Emirates Stadium for another two seasons.

The 27-year-old scored 13 goals and had four assists in 30 Premier League games last term.
