Arsenal defender Tafari Moore is on the verge of signing for Dutch side Utrecht on loan.

The highly-rated right-back pulled out of the England under-19 squad for the European Championships through injury, but has since recovered and is currently on trial at the Eredivisie outfit ahead of a season-long loan move.

Moore featured for Arsenal Under-21s in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Bournemouth last weekend and has been urged by youth chief Andries Jonker to gain more experience if he has serious aims of breaking into the Gunners first team.

Jonker has used his contacts in the Netherlands to secure a trial for Moore and he will be hoping that the 19-year-old Brent-born youngster will be able to push on after signing a new deal in January.

A fully fledged England youth international, Moore won the Under-17 European Championships with the England in 2014.
