Pepe Reina: Arsenal have reportedly been close to signing the Spanish keeper on a few occasions, including in 2010 when Liverpool resisted a £20 million offer. The Gunners also weighed up a £5m bid for the keeper this season, before he eventually moved to Bayern Munich. The improvement of Wojciech Szczesny means Arsenal fans may not be ruing missing out on Reina this summer, but they could have done with him four years ago when Manuel Almunia was still inexplicably between the sticks.
