Turkish Super Lig side Atiker Konyaspor have sealed an exclusive contract with world statistics authority Opta for the coming season.
The club impressed in the 2015-16 campaign, finishing third to clinch a place in this year's Europa League competition.
And they have taken another step forward by joining the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund in using the platform.
Speaking at the unveiling of the new deal, Konyaspor's Baris Karakoc signalled that the Opta partnership marked a big step in the right direction for the side.
"Besides gathering information about our team and players we will be able to compare them against others in European football," the technical team analyst explained.
"Until today we worked with many local software service providers, but Opta's detailed worldwide studies will help us much more than that."
Speaking on behalf of Perform, meanwhile, Turkey and Eastern Europe managing director Emre Ugurlu was delighted to add Konyaspor to Opta's extensive club roster.
"I congratulate Atiker Konyaspor for their vision," Ugurlu said.
They see the future and decided for it. Now, their technical department could use all data about their team or rivals. It's a kind of revolution for them."
