Serge Aurier will face a further three weeks out of the Paris Saint-Germain team after learning his punishment for criticising manager Laurent Blanc and a series of team-mates.
The Ivory Coast international will be forced to train with the club's reserves until March 20 having hit out at Blanc during a Periscope video on February 13.
The Ivory Coast international was criticised heavily by Blanc, with the coach saying he will "suffer the consequences" for his "pathetic" actions.
The French champions subsequently released a statement on Friday confirming Aurier's punishment on their official website.
"This Friday, 26 February, at 16.30, at the headquarters of the club, the player received from Olivier Létang, Sporting Director Assistant, the notification of a disciplinary suspension of six days, that it has already performed in the framework of a layoff pronounced on 14 February," read a statement.
"Moreover, at the time that Paris Saint-Germain should remain focused on major deadlines, the direction of the club must maintain a professional group of any potential trouble and decided that Serge Aurier is available to the drive unit of the club team playing in the CFA as of Monday, February 29 to Sunday March 20 included
"At the same time, the player has proposed to carry out different approaches in favour of the Foundation Paris Saint Germain and the club's training centre. While it hopes to be able to soon celebrate with its supporters a fourth consecutive French title the club wishes to reaffirm its full confidence in his coach, its staff and its players."
