Bayern Munich defender Holger Badstuber has affirmed he is thrilled to be working with a coach like Carlo Ancelotti, praising the Italian's experience at the highest level.
Ancelotti stepped into the fold at the Allianz Arena to replace Pep Guardiola, who departed the club after three years to take over the reins at Manchester City.
And Badstuber believes the former Real Madrid coach can get the best out of him and his team-mates, highlighting the 57-year-old's man-management skills.
"The first impression [with Ancelotti] is very positive. He tries to talk a lot with each player, so you get to know each other and build up a bond of trust," Badstuber explained to Goal.
"This is very important for the team, but also for the team behind the actual squad. If we all have a harmonic relation - which is very important for Ancelotti as well - then we can be very successful."
Badstuber also played down comparisons between Ancelotti and former coach Guardiola, stating that the former will embed his own approach at the Bundesliga giants.
"I don't want to compare them. Ancelotti has his own philosophy regarding training and style of play," he continued.
"Anyway, Bayern have and had only excellent coaches and we are happy to be able working together with Ancelotti now. He is a very experienced coach who won a lot of titles to date."
Portugal's Euro 2016 winner Renato Sanches will be another new face at the Allianz Arena, having completed a move from Benfica prior to his nation's triumph in France.
"I watched just a few games [at the Euros] as I preferred to enjoy my free time and not to think about football," Badstuber admitted when asked about his new team-mate.
"I cannot say much about him. Of course I know the player, but I am mainly focused on myself. But I am happy, that he joins a team of great quality where he is able to show his qualities and skills."
