Gareth Bale has announced his engagement to long-term girlfriend Emma Rhys-Jones.
The new comes a day after the Real Madrid and Wales star's 27th birthday, with pictures of both events posted on Twitter, and the pair, who reportedly met in high school, now set to tie the knot.

The couple, who have two daughters called Alba and Nava, are currently enjoying a holiday in Spain after Bale's Euro 2016 exploits with Wales - scoring three times as Chris Coleman's side reached the semi-finals.p>
