G. Barrywhyte and Onumajuru Sampson were among the winners at the Oil & Gas Deepwater Safety Training Golf Tournament sponsored by Tolmann Allied Services at Port Harcourt Club 1928 Golf Section.
Barrywhyte carded 68 nett on a one shot victory over Henry Nwuzi in the category 1 event of the event.
James Shuaibu trailed for third position with 71, three strokes off the pace.
However, it was 11 handicapper, Sampson from Aba Sports Club, in category 2, that emerged the winner with a nett score of 67.
A field of 140 golfers gathered in Port Harcourt for the tournament.
Susan Cole- Kotas shot a course par 70 to win the women category.
She beat Eunice Ogan by one shot, while Judith Obomanu- Assis trailed for third with a 73.
