Paris Saint-Germain kicked off their Ligue 1 title defence thanks to a 1-0 win away to Bastia, with Layvin Kurzawa getting the game's only goal deep into the second half.
The champions struggled to find their form but claimed the points when Kurzawa volleyed home after substitute Jese had a shot saved by Jean-Louis Leca.
