It didn’t take long for Michy Batshuayi to get off the mark at Euro 2016 and the in-demand striker couldn’t hide his delight on Twitter.
The Marseille striker was on the pitch for less than two minutes before he tapped home Eden Hazard’s cross to put Belgium two goals ahead against Hungary.
It was the first time we’ve seen Batshuayi at the tournament, with Marc Wilmots preferring to start Romelu Lukaku as the spearhead in Belgium’s attack.
But that doesn’t appear to have soured Batshuayi’s mood as he celebrated his goal on Twitter with his very own GIF and the caption: “When you score with your first touch in the first match of the first Euro of your life.”
