Michy Batshuayi has made a bizarre first appearance for Chelsea, appearing as a second-half substitute in a friendly despite not initially being announced in the squad.
The Belgium international was introduced from the bench in the meeting with Austrian side Wolfsberger AC on Wednesday evening, making his Blues debut in the process.
But confusion reigned inside the Worthersee Stadion as Batshuayi, who came on for Diego Costa in attack and almost scored with his first couple of touches, was not originally on the teamsheet submitted by manager Antonio Conte...!
