The 21-year-old rallied the Gunners and called for his team to ensure they are in the best condition to exploit any of their rivals' slip-ups in the Premier League

Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin has not yet given up on the Premier League title and urges his team-mates to come back from the international break recharged for the final charge.

The Gunners have endured a difficult month of March, falling 11 points off the pace from leaders Leicester City at the summit and crashing out of the Champions League and FA Cup as well.

However, Arsene Wenger's men secured a morale-boosting 2-0 win over Everton at the weekend to collect three points that could prove invaluable in the event they are able to rekindle their title push.

And Bellerin has called for the Emirates Stadium side to ensure they return to the club at the end of the month in the best condition to capitalise on any openings their opponents provide.

“Definitely,” he told Arsenal Player. “It is great time to go on the international break after a win, and it’s time for the players to recharge their batteries because it is the last bit of the season and it is important for us.

“We knew it was going to be a hard game. We were really looking forward to it and the team put on a great performance, especially in the first half with two great goals. That gave us the chance to relax a little bit in the second half.

“It is always a hard place to come and in the last few years we have always had tough games [here]. To get a win like that was important.

“I think the team has had more purpose with the ball lately and we are playing better football. That is showing on the pitch because we have to defend less because we are keeping the ball and creating way more chances.”

Arsenal host Watford in the first of their eight remaining fixtures once Premier League action resumes.
