Hatem Ben Arfa insists he is ready to take the step up to one of Europe's biggest clubs, after a fine season with Nice relaunched his career.
The former Newcastle United and Hull City midfielder suffered a difficult period in England, but life on the Cote d'Azur seems to agree with him as he has been exceptional for the French club over the last year.
Out of contract at the end of the campaign, Ben Arfa has been linked to Spanish giants Barcelona and he believes he is good enough to play at the highest levels.
"I feel totally ready to play for a big European team. I reached many levels, and today I'm ready for any challenge, big or not," he told Eurosport, while stopping short of confirming contact with the Catalans.
"There is a lot of talk about Barcelona. Sometimes it's Barcelona, another day it's another team. It's always like this.
“For the moment, I'm focused on the end of my season. We will see after."
Ben Arfa has scored 17 Ligue 1 goals this term, leaving him joint-fourth in the ranks behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Alexandre Lacazette and Edinson Cavani.
