Sevilla will complete the signing of Hatem Ben Arfa by the end of the week, Goal understands.
The 29-year-old, who is out of contract after leaving Nice this summer, has agreed a three-year contract and will receive a signing-on fee in excess of β¬10 million.
Ben Arfaβs preferred destination was to Paris Saint-Germain but the French champions have not submitted an offer for one of Ligue 1βs standout stars last season.
Ben Arfa was the catalyst in a Nice side that finished fourth in Ligue 1, scoring 17 goals and registering six assists.
But despite his impressive form, it was not enough to secure a place in Franceβs final Euro 2016 squad.
The former Newcastle United midfielder will link up with Jorge Sampaoli, who was confirmed as Sevillaβs new coach on Monday....
