Even Nicklas Bendtner is basking in Tottenham’s misery.
Lukas Podolski was quick to send his... sympathies to Tottenham after their 5-1 defeat away to Newcastle United meant that Arsenal pipped Spurs to second place.
And now Bendtner, who is without a club after his contract with Wolfsburg was terminated in April, has taken to Twitter to mock Spurs’ slump at St James’ Park.

Arsenal’s 4-0 win over Aston Villa means Tottenham have never finished above their north London rivals in a Premier League season.
At least Mauricio Pochettino, who labelled the defeat as his worst day in management, may take some comfort in the fact that he won’t have to navigate through the Champions League play-off places. - Goal
