Blue Ivy is keeping a real stranglehold on that name.
The Los Angeles event-planning company have again moved to block Beyonce and Jay-Z from trademarking their daughter's name, TMZ reported.
The firm had already prevented the couple from registering 'Blue Ivy', arguing it was operating under that moniker for three years before the child was even born.

Her superstar parents made a second attempt earlier this year by adding her surname, but the company has now also filed legal documents challenging 'Blue Ivy Carter' as well.
Bey and Jay's application covers everything from beauty products to 'baby teething rings'.
But the challenge points out that the rapper is on record as saying they have no intention of actually selling any products; rather they're just trying to prevent others from doing so.

In addition to fragrances, cosmetics, hair care and skincare, the paperworkwhich is publicly available to view on the United States Patent and Trademark Office database, also lists key chains, DVDs, CDs, baby carriages, bags, books and even playing cards and 'live musical performances'.
As stated by the database, the application was originally filed in January 2016, but was only made available for opposition on January 10 of this year.
