IPOB leader, Nnamdi
Kanu Self-acclaimed leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has alleged that late Dora Akunyili, a former minister of information, sacrificed her life to ensure Goodluck Jonathan became Nigeria’s President. Famzn News reports that Jonathan was the then Vice President under Umaru Yar’adua, while Akunyili was the minister of information and had demanded that Jonathan be made the acting President when Yar’adua was sick and flown abroad. Speaking during a live broadcast via radio Biafra on Saturday, Kanu said the late Akunyili did what “nobody had the mettle” to do at the time. His words: “Dora Akunyili sacrificed her life that Jonathan may become the President, so when next somebody is saying they are Igbo and we are Ijaw, what have they done for us? Tell the idiot that Dora Akunyili sacrificed herself that Jonathan may become the President of the Zoo. “She did what nobody had the mettle, they did not have it inside them to speak the truth until Dora Akunyili came and told everybody the truth that Yar’adua was dead. “What they are doing now they perfected it. Are you telling me that none of you has seen Dora Akunyili video? We are going to play the audio so you can hear it how she made it possible for Jonathan to become the President. “They were all cowards. all cowards all of them. It took one strong Biafran woman to stand up and say enough is enough before they gave way for Jonathan. “When Buhari died, oh dear! Imagine asking Osinbajo to instigate somebody to say Buhari is dead. They threatened all of them,” he said.
