The Hungarian's disappointing displays between the sticks for the Reds mean that Danny Ward will act as Simon Mignolet's understudy while Jon Flanagan also misses out
Liverpool goalkeeper Adam Bogdan has been cut from the club’s squad for the knockout stages of the Europa League.
The Hungary international has had a difficult time as backup to Simon Mignolet at Anfield, as on the rare occasions he has played, his performances have been criticised.
As a result, Jurgen Klopp has dropped the 28-year-old former Bolton star and has instead called upon Danny Ward, who spent the first half of the season on loan with Aberdeen.
Joe Gomez and Danny Ings drop out of the German’s selection due to long-term injury concerns, with Joao Carlos Teixeria and Steven Caulker replacing them.
Meanwhile, full-backs Jon Flanagan and Jose Enrique continue to be overlooked.
Simon Mignolet, Danny Ward, Nathaniel Clyne, Steven Caulker, Kolo Toure, Dejan Lovren, Alberto Moreno, Mamadou Sakho, Martin Skrtel, Lucas Leiva, Jordan Henderson, James Milner, Emre Can, Joe Allen, Philippe Coutinho, Adam Lallana, Roberto Firmino, Divock Origi, Joao Teixeira, Daniel Sturridge, Christian Benteke
