The former Barcelona forward agrees a new four-and-a-half-year contract that is set to keep him at the Britannia Stadium until 2020 after making himself vital to Mark Hughes
Bojan Krkic has signed a new four-and-a-half-year deal with Stoke City, the club have confirmed.
The Spanish forward has bounced back from a serious knee injury in January 2015 to score five Premier League goals this season.
His role in a dynamic attacking trident with Marko Arnautovic and Xherdan Shaqiri drew plaudits earlier in the season as Mark Hughes's side climbed as high as seventh in the table.
Bojan's impact at the club has made him a firm favourite with the fans and he paid tribute to them as he penned his new deal.
"I am very happy and motivated," he told the club's official website. "Stoke City gave me the opportunity to play in the most competitive league in the world, the Premier League, and I have only words of gratitude for their trust and for the way they have treated me since the first day I arrived to England.
"Mark Hughes convinced me to come to Stoke, he has helped me and showed his trust in me from the beginning, he followed closely the recovery process from my injury and there is no doubt I have signed an extension of my contract thanks to him.
