
Former governor of Lagos State and National Leader of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was one of the numerous VIP guests, who turned up for AFRIMA2015, which held at The Eko Convention Centre of Eko Hotel and Suites last night.
The powerful politician made a grand entry into the venue amidst shouts of ‘Jagaban’ by fans as he got interviewed on the red carpet by Denrele Edun and Maria Okan.
The red carpet was in frenzy when the Jagaban stepped into the venue to grant newsmen interview as no one expected him to be at such event.
The APC leader was later invited to the stage to receive an award of honour as the Pillar Of African Culture as he stepped on stage in company of entourage who listened attentively when Tinubu was giving his inspiring acceptance speech.
Bola Tinubu expressed his delight on how African youths has explored the music industry as he took time out to advise everybody on the way forward for growth in the continent. He then called on the audience to stand on their feet and observe a minute silence for the victims of Paris disaster.
