Borussia Dortmund could have a new Xavi on their hands.
The World Cup winner was the midfield hub for Barcelona and Spain, and it appears Julian Weigl is having a similar influence at Dortmund.
The 20-year-old only joined Dortmund last June but he has quickly found his feet in the centre of Thomas Tuchelβs midfield.

And on the final day of the Bundesliga campaign, Weigl capped his impressive season by setting a new record for the amount of touches of any player in a single game.
Dortmund may have only registered a 2-2 draw against Koln but Weigl touched the ball 214 times during the match.
Weigl, who is yet to earn a senior cap for the German national team, also made 209 passes with a 95% accuracy rate. - Goal
