Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has challenged anyone who claims he is corrupt to bring evidence to that effect.

Atiku gave the challenge in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital on Tuesday during a meeting with Governor Ayodele Fayose and stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

He said reports that he is corrupt are nothing but false as nobody has come up with facts to prove it.

As stated by him, he has all it takes to develop Nigeria, claiming that the level of corruption under the President Muhammadu Buhari government is alarming.

“I have come to appeal to you to support me in our party’s convention. I have the programme that will best develop this country,” the PDP presidential aspirant added.

“I wish to appeal for your individual and collective support.”

He commended Fayose for the way he does “things. You’re brutally frank. You say your mind; it’s a very rare quality.

“So, I commend for who you are. We will stand by you and the party in Ekiti until you retrieve your stolen mandate.

“If you have any evidence of corruption against Atiku, please come forward. But nobody has been able to come forward.”
