President Muhammadu Buhari has prolonged the appointment of Dr. Jafaru Alunua Momoh as Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the National Hospital, Abuja.
In a related vein, the President additionally accepted the reappointment of Dr. Nwadinigwe Cajetan Uwatoronye as Medical Director, National Orthopedic Hospital Enugu, Enugu state.
The appointments are to take impact from fifth July 2018 and 30th May, 2018, respectively.
Congratulating the CMDs on their reappointments, the Minister of Health, Professor Isaac Adewole, in an assertion on Friday urged them to enhance on achievements already attained within the hospitals to justify the arrogance reposed on them.
“I also hope that their reappointments would enable them work collaboratively with all stakeholders, ensuring harmony and continuous delivery of quality healthcare services to the populace,” the minister stated.
