President Muhammadu Buhari has directed the ministers of foreign affairs and aviation to commence the process of repatriating Nigerians stranded in Russia.
More than 400 Nigerian football fans were reported to have been stranded in Vladimir Putinβs country after failed promises of employment there.
The fans were said to have been told by scammers that they would be employed in Russia, after the 2018 Fifa World Cup, but things went south as the scammers cancelled their return tickets.
