President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osibanjo on Wednesday, August 19, met with the permanent secretary of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the National Orientation Agency.
The ministries presented a number of recommendations to President Muhammadu Buhari, among them were suggestions for the simplification of the visa obtaining process for tourists and the establishment of a tourism development fund.
Speaking at the end of the meeting, the president praised the permanent secretary for “a very good presentation” and vowed that his administration will support the ministry’s activities.
Buhari hailed the ongoing efforts by the ministry to generate more revenue through its different agencies.

The president was also presented with a handmade sculpture by the Ministry of Tourism in Anambra state.
