President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday met with the Togolese President Faure Gnassingbe Eyadema on the Presidential, Lodge Katsina.
The two presidents mentioned bilateral points in addition to sub-regional issues particularly the continued political battle between Eyadema’s authorities and the opposition in his nation.
Gnassingbe, who has provided concessions to the opposition, can also be reported to have briefed President Muhammadu Buhari on socio-political reforms he launched to revive political order in Togo.
The opposition in Togo are calling for change of administration.
President Muhammadu Buhari had met and condoled with the federal government and other people of Katsina State over windstorm catastrophe that killed six individuals and destroyed greater than 530 homes within the state.
2,000 individuals had been displaced as a results of the catastrophe.
