President Muhammadu Buhari
The Presidency has announced that President Muhammadu Buhari will on Tuesday make a nationwide broadcast to Nigerians to commemorate this year’s Democracy Day.
As stated by a statement issued on Monday by the Special Adviser to the president on media and publicity, Femi Adesina, the broadcast would start at 7am.
“Television and radio stations are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Radio Nigeria for the broadcast,” Adesina added.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had earlier advised Buhari and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) not to address Nigerians during the 2018 Democracy Day.
